Healthcare in Mexico

A primary concern when considering a move is often healthcare. Fortunately, the quality of healthcare today is very good and in many cities it is excellent. Many doctors and dentists in Mexico have received at least part of their education in the U.S., and many of those continue their training in North America and Europe. Every mid-size to large city in Mexico has at least one first-rate hospital, and costs for healthcare and prescription drugs are generally less than in the U.S. Resort developments are beginning to provide access to healthcare and physicians as part of the amenities offered to residents and guests.
